About CheapMealMap
Inflation sucks.
$15 for a sandwich. $9 for coffee. A "value meal" that no longer delivers either. Eating out used to be a simple pleasure. Now it's a line item most of us stress about.
So we built a map to fight back.
Here's the idea
CheapMealMap is a crowdsourced map of meals under $12. Real people, real prices, no sponsored placements. You find a cheap meal, you share it. Everyone eats better for less.
The inspiration came from a similar Korean website called Beggarmap that went viral in 2026 doing the same thing. When times get tough, we help each other out. We figured the US could use one too.
The bigger goal
Cheap eats are great. But there are people who can't afford eating at all.
As CheapMealMap grows, a portion of our profits will go to homeless meal programs and food banks. We'll publish quarterly reports showing exactly how much we raised and where it went. No vague promises, no hidden percentages — just honest numbers.
We're not there yet. We just launched. But the commitment is baked in from day one.
Eat well. Help others eat well. That's the whole idea.
How this works
- You find the best meal and drink deal under $12. You submit it.
- Someone else sees it. They try it. They vote.
- The map gets better every day.
- Everybody wins, including people you'll never meet.
How to help
Drop a spot. Vote on others. Share with a friend who's tired of $15 sandwiches.
CheapMealMap works because of people who care enough to contribute.
Thanks for being one of them.
